One definition of Mid-Autumn Festival is:
Gathering, such as family and friends coming together, or harvesting crops for the festival. It’s said the moon is the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion.
Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or the Lantern Festival, takes place each year on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. Traditionally the Moon Festival marks the end of the summer harvest. To the farmers of China, the festival is a celebration of thankfulness for heaven’s bounty.
